If you are going to advertise well on the internet, then you should be prepared to handle orders efficiently. I ordered a pair of frames. I got a confirmation email that they received my order; so far so good. But that was it. Their site says orders take 5-7 days shipping. 7 days later, nothing. OK, so I email them for an update and finally get a reply at the 9 day point; reply just says they will check into it. Later that day, I get an email that they refunded me. That's it. No explanation, no apology.
Obviously they didn't have that frame in stock, thus they SHOULDN'T show it as in stock on their web site. And they should have notified me right away that they were out of stock so I could choose something else. These are eyeglasses - important functional items - not jewelry, etc. I have now spent 9 useless days wearing my old/broken glasses, and have to start all over again! Very poor customer service! One might think, why don't I just go to a local eyeware retailer and save myself the trouble/wait. Because I have an unusually shaped face and narrow face at the eyes and need small glasses, and very few look good on me. I have searched for decades for glasses that fit my face and only found proper ones in the last 6 years, but they cost me about $650 each (distance glasses & computer glasses). My optometrist is excellent at testing and prescribing for a condition I have called hyperphoria, so I stick with him for the Rx, but they wanted over $500 JUST for lenses for my computer glasses, and over $900 for frames & lenses for my distance glasses!
Standard optical outlets just carry frames for normal shaped faces, not narrow bridge/narrow glasses. So I'm off shopping online again!
